The story of Champagne COLLARD-PICARD began in 1996, not as a direct inheritance of an existing estate, but as the result of Olivier COLLARD and Caroline PICARD’s strong desire to build their own Champagne estate from scratch.
origins
Both from families that have been winegrowers for five generations, they carry within them a wealth of expertise deeply rooted in the land and time. Olivier is the grandson of René Collard, nicknamed “the antique dealer of Champagne” for his passion for old vintages and specialist in 100% Meunier champagnes. Caroline, also heir to a winegrowing lineage dating back to 1830 with the Gonet-Gardien family, shares the same high standards of beauty and quality.
Their adventure began in Villers-sous-Châtillon on 2.5 hectares of vines, which have now grown to 16 hectares. As winegrowers and producers, they work their land with respect for the living environment. In 2024, their son Alexandre joined the family adventure, enthusiastically representing the sixth generation. COLLARD-PICARD champagne is the union of time, skill, and passion. A domaine shaped like a living work of art, cuvée after cuvée.
THE CELLAR IN VILLERS SOUS CHATILLON
Built in 2006, ten years after the estate was founded, in the hills above Villers-sous-Châtillon, it remains the headquarters of our production today.
Already very modern at the time, it has been constantly updated and equipped with the latest technology, providing us and our teams with a comfortable, safe, and efficient working environment. Functional and adapted to all stages of winemaking and aging, this cellar reflects our desire to combine tradition and innovation to enhance our wines and promote our terroirs. It is also a place where we welcome our customers, both private individuals and professionals.

THE TASTING ROOM IN ÉPERNAY
In 2013, a tasting area was opened on the prestigious Avenue de Champagne in ÉPERNAY. Open every day of the year, it offers visitors the opportunity to discover our philosophy and our wines without an appointment.
